This Privacy Policy describes how Rover + Roam — operated by Astro Logistics LLC, which holds the legal d/b/a "Rover & Roam" ("we," "us," or "our") — collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you visit getroverandroam.com (the "Site"), join our email list, or place an order.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Your email address, when you join the PACKT list through a signup form on the Site.
- Your name, shipping address, email address, and phone number, when you place an order. A phone number is collected for delivery purposes — carriers use it for delivery exceptions.
- Payment information, which is processed by Shopify. We do not receive or store your full card number.
- Anything you write to us — the contents of emails and contact-form messages you send.
Information collected automatically
- Browser type, IP address, time zone, and operating system
- Pages viewed, time on page, and the site or ad that referred you
- Cookie and session data — see Cookies below
How we use it
- To fulfil orders — take payment, arrange shipping, and send you confirmations and tracking.
- To run the email list — send you the messages described below, and nothing else.
- To answer you — respond to questions you send us.
- To improve the Site — understand which pages work, fix what breaks, and measure advertising.
- To meet legal obligations — tax records, fraud prevention, and lawful requests.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
The email list
If you give us your email address through a signup form, you are joining the PACKT list. What you are agreeing to receive is deliberately narrow:
One message when PACKT ships. After that, occasional email about the product and about new colourways or sizes — no more than a few times a year. There is no weekly newsletter and no automated drip sequence.
Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. You can also ask us to remove you by writing to hello@getroverandroam.com. We use Klaviyo to store the list and deliver the messages. Klaviyo processes your address on our instructions and for no other purpose.
Text messages
We do not send marketing text messages, and we do not collect phone numbers for marketing. A phone number given at checkout is used only for delivery. If we ever introduce SMS marketing, it will require a separate, clearly labelled opt-in that is unchecked by default, and this policy will be updated before that happens.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the service providers who make the Site and our orders work. They act on our instructions, they may use your information only to perform their function for us, and they are obligated to keep it confidential:
- Shopify — to host the store, take payment, and process your order
- Klaviyo — to store the email list and deliver the messages you opted into
- Shipping carriers — to deliver your order and provide tracking
- Analytics and advertising platforms — to measure Site traffic and the performance of our advertising
We also disclose information where the law requires it, to enforce our Terms of Service, or to protect our rights, property, or safety. If the business is sold or transferred, customer information may transfer with it.
Cookies
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your cart and preferences, to understand how the Site is used, and to measure our advertising. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings; blocking them may break parts of the Site, such as the shopping cart.
Your rights
If you are a California resident
Under the CCPA/CPRA you have the right to know what personal information we collect and why, to request a copy of it, to request its deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of its "sale" or "sharing." We do not sell personal information. We may share limited advertising identifiers with advertising platforms in a way that some laws define as "sharing" — to opt out, email us at the address below.
If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area
Under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR you have the right to access your personal data, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to how we process it, and to receive it in a portable format. We process your data to perform our contract with you (fulfilling your order), with your consent (marketing email), and on the basis of our legitimate interest in running and improving the Site. You may withdraw consent at any time, and you have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@getroverandroam.com. We will respond within the period the applicable law requires.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them to fulfil the order, honour the return window, and meet our tax and legal obligations. We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Where you ask for deletion, we delete or anonymise your information within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep it.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit between your browser and our servers. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Site is not directed to anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have, we delete it promptly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page, and where the change is material we will say so on the Site. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
